The printer works fine when I print to it using the HP-supplied Windows XP driver installed in the Windows XP Mode (Windows Virtual PC), so I know there's no problem with any of the hardware involved, or the XP driver. The problem, therefore, has to be in the Windows 7 driver (perhaps limited to the 64-bit version - I have no facility for testing under 32-bit Windows 7).
