The HP Smart Update Firmware DVD 9.20(B) corrects an issue found only in Automatic mode where the update hangs at Stage 1 of 3 in the inventory process.

To resolve the problem, a script in the Firmware DVD boot environment was altered (fwdvd_handler.sh).

• This issue will only affect users who use the automatic mode of the Firmware DVD.
• Users who use the interactive mode or who deploy the Firmware bundles within an OS environment are not affected by this issue and can continue to use either version 9.20 or 9.20(B).
