I have installed the program on my pc in XP compatability mode but why are the drivers not found. I know the Scanner is old but it is as good as the day I bought it new and my HP Deskjet 1220c Printer aquired at the same time installed automatically and is recognised by Windows.

I know Vuescan works with my scanner but if I'm being forced to buy a that I might as well buy a new scanner (definitely not HP).
